I Dont Care

This surrealist painting was painted by the artist Ora Xu, who painted this for a project with one goal she wanted to achieve . That goal is for her paintings of ordinary objects to reveal a hidden message behind it.
In this painting, I can see that it takes place somewhere in the ocean, most likely somewhere in the bottom. The blue background, the seaweed as well as the ground supports this. I also see 3 red or orange and white goldfishes. The first 2 goldfishes are seen at both sides of the painting and the third one seems to be buried under the ground beside what seems to be a type of bird. The skull seems bird like and and the huge thing at the far left looks like a wing and everything in between seems to look like the flesh and bones of the bird. The ground seems like sand because of how the third goldfish seems to have dug into it. This could an indication that whatever the ground is, it's probably soft and since this painting is underwater, sand would make sense. Lastly, there seems to be a child in the background sleeping however, it seems to be hidden away because it blends in with the background a lot. the circles at the bottom looks like either bubbles or pearls, either way they would both fit with the underwater aesthetic.
This painting is part of a project called "There Are SO Many of Us" , a project composed of many of her other paintings that's supposed to demonstrate the extreme emotions one can feel when both their individual and social struggles are trying to find an answer to what makes up human experience . This particular painting is a metaphor about people who fail to challenge themselves.
I like the use of colours in this painting as well as how there's a lot to discover in this painting for example the baby in the background and the circles at the bottom near the third fish. I also like the amount of details she put in this painting like the scales on the fish and the body of the bird. These details make them more realistic and much more interesting to look at.
One character I can find in this painting is scale change because the 2 goldfishes look about the same size as the bird corpse which is never the case in real life.
HIstory
Scones were made in Scotland during the 1500s. This person who made it still remains unknown today most likely because of the lack of newspapers that were being made in that time. Some people theorized that it was either named after a Dutch word that means white or fine bread or a German word that means fine beautiful bread. However, some people also thought that it was named after the stone that newly crowned Scottish Kings sat on, the Stone of Destiny.Originally, it was made with oats that were then kneaded and cut into multiple triangles and griddled. After that, they would form it into little balls before they were baked again. Scones became an essential part of afternoon tea time during the years 1788-1861 when the Duchess of Bedford, Anna was still alive. It all started one afternoon when she ordered one of the servants in the castle to bring her tea and bread. One of the breads they brought was scones, the Duchess adored it to the point where she would order the servants to bring her one everyday
General Information
Now, scones have become essential pastries during afternoon tea time in England. They taste the best when they’re served warm with strawberry jam and clotted cream along with any kind of tea. In total, there are 25 different types of scones to choose from such as lemon scones and strawberry scones which happen to be one the most popular ones. Unlike the 1500s, today scones are made with much more ingredients and are prepared a lot more differently. To make a scone, you’ll first need 2 cups of flour, ½ cup of sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, yogurt, heavy cream, an egg and some vanilla extract (this ingredient is optional). They’re made by mixing all the dry ingredients together ( flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt) in one bowl and all of your wet ingredients in another ( butter, yogurt, egg and vanilla extract if you’re adding it ). Then, you mix both of the wet and dry ingredients together to make your dough before you form it into a wide circle and cut it into as many triangles as you want. Once that’s finished the last part you need to do is brush each of them with the heavy cream and put it in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before you put it into the oven for 20 minutes.
